oh well.. i havent been blogging for a millenia already. was busy and stuff.. the last post was dated october! that was the time right after mjs birthday.
yeah.. and as usual, 2 weeks before the mst, we studied non stop daily. rushing thru ASE, HF, maths, MCT. well.. i reaped my rewards!
later, we had a 3 week break. basically, i did nothing productive. we did go for SGB though, for those who doesnt know whats SGB, its Sharity Gift Box. its some give-your-stuff kind of event where ya donate non-perishable food to the needy.
we had a great time, it was uplifting. i have experienced stuff i have never done before. whats more, i was with my friends all the while. there were lots of stuff to move about, like mattresses, food packs, rice cookers.
this years christmas and new year wasnt very special. went out with wendy and company for christmas countdown at orchard.. super crowded plus crazy. people were spraying lots of foam everywhere like FOC. tamade.. kill them all.. almost kena us too.
for the new year, i wasnt too free to go town or vivo or somewhere like that. instead, i hanged out with francis and kenny in woodlands. we went to watch the fireworks launched in johor at the "woodlands jetty". not very fascinating, but this outing was more like for slacking..
we slacked about and talked about everything.. studies to bike to science and etc.. till about 5am in the new year.
school started recently. theres only 3 weeks left to the semestral exams. oh dear.. im still slacking round..
btw, we did our HF report during the 3 week break. it was boring.. we had to do a 3000 word report on this Alaska Airlines Flight 261 case study. it was a boeing MD-83 aircraft that had its horizontal stab screwed.. the jackscrew assembly got stuck and snapped.. the aircraft then dived to its death. then yadayada.. all those mechanics and organizational errors. blah blah.. etc.
we did our presentation on the first day of school.. i was pretty nervous.. shaking when i was explaining the operation of the jackscrew assembly and some of the contributing factors.
overall it was fine though. those technical related questions that were aimed at us, no problem! i was lucky that i could answer what the restraining fixture was when the lecturer asked us. phew..
we will have a few lab tests and quizzes next week.. sian. we just have a bit of time left to study for the exams. die..
